About LoMo

LoMo

The Lower Moyamensing Civic Association (LoMo) is a community-based, volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood. LoMo was formed in February 2007 by neighborhood residents to serve our focus area between Snyder to Oregon Avenues, Broad to Seventh Streets in South Philadelphia (see map at right). LoMo also serves as the Registered Community Organization with the City of Philadelphia for this area.

La Asociación de Vecinos de Lower Moyamensing (LoMo) es una organización 501(c)(3) sin fines de lucro, basada en la comunidad y conducida por voluntarios, cuya misión es mejorar la calidad de vida en nuestra vecindad. LoMo fue formado en febrero de 2007 por unos residentes de la vecindad para servir nuestra área de enfoque, entre las avenidas Snyder y Oregon y entre las calles Broad y Ocho (vea el mapa).

Meet Your Civic

LoMo’s General Meetings, the last Wednesday of the month at Fumo Library, are a great way to catch up on what our organization as a whole has been up to and what we have planned. These meetings are also a chance for you to voice your questions or concerns.

Our monthly happy hours rotate around the neighborhood. Enjoy drink specials mingle with friendly neighbors!

Conozca su Asociación de Vecinos

Las reuniones regulares de LoMo, el ultimo miércoles del mes en la Biblioteca Fumo, son una buena manera de informarse de lo que nuestra organización ha hecho y tiene planeado. Estas reuniones son también una oportunidad para que usted pueda expresar sus dudas o inquietudes.

Y las Happy Hours cambiar lugares alrededor del barrio. Disfrute de bebidas especiales se mezclan con vecinos amigos !
