- A blood transfusion is needed every 2 seconds in the United States.
- Each blood donation can save the lives of up to 3 people.
- There is no synthetic substitution for human blood. Donors are the sole source of blood for patients who need it.
- All blood collected at Jefferson is used exclusively for Jefferson patients.
Remember to have something to eat and hydrate before your donation!

All donors receive an insulated tote bag and eligible employees receive 3 hours Blood Donor Time with each donation.
