Frida Cantina is now open for Brunch on Sunday, starting at 11am. Sunday, February 12 was their first Brunch. First customer was a LoMo member, who enjoyed this dish pictured, a blueberry waffle, and a cup of coffee. Frida – named after the artist Frida Kahlo – is a tribute to Mexico by Raul Castro, who co-owns the Washington Avenue Mexican restaurant Plaza Garibaldi. Happy Hour is from 5 to 7pm weekdays. The next LoMo Happy Hour will be at Frida’s, Thursday, February 23, at 6pm.
