Congratulate Miss Washington and her 4th-6th grade students at The Key School. Over 100 students participated in this year’s Jr. Flower Show. PHS judges came to the school yesterday, Feb. 14th to award ribbons. Two entries will be on view at the Philadelphia Flower Show in March! Miss Washington will also take a group of students to the Flower Show in recognition of their accomplishment. Miss Washington worked with other teachers in the school since last December to plan, organize and plant so that entries would be ready for the show. Rebecca Wanner, LoMo’s Education Committee Chair who volunteers regularly at the Key School coordinated with Environmental Committee members to recognize and award four 4th grade students for their outstanding effort and achievement, going above and beyond to assist their classmates, their teacher and to make the whole school and our community proud! Entries will be on view this week at the school for report card conferences.
