Thank you to Homegrown Coffee and Creations (just west off Broad on Jackson) co-owners, Christian Sassani (in the picture) and Jimmy Rossoni who have been contributing coffee grinds to the South Philadelphia High School Garden compost pile. They throw in tomato scraps too (from their amazing grilled cheese sandwiches!)
SPHS student Carlos Colon (also pictured), picks up the compost container early in the morning and returns with a cleaned container for refilling.
