What: Love Your Park Fall Service Day
Where: Mifflin Square Park (6th and Ritner)
When: Saturday, November 14th, 9:00 – 11:30 AM
Friends of Mifflin Square Park are excited to have LoMo involved in this year’s Love Your Park Fall Service Day. No need to sign up individually online, just show up at the registration table and say you are a LoMo volunteer. Mifflin Square is the Parks & Recreation “signature site” this year, so there will be plenty to do and a lot of activities: trash cleanup, leaf collection, tree planting, tools and fun chores for kids including decorating new trash can lids, painting benches, Patti Pat DJ, free t-shirts for volunteers, and a bagel truck on site. Registration starts at 8:30 AM, and the event runs from 9:00 – 11:30 AM, with press event to follow.
