Lomo’s next general community meeting will be tonight, Monday, November 9th, from 6:45 to 7:45 PM at the Fumo Family Library (2437 S. Broad St).
Our special guest for this meeting will be Thomas M. Conway, Executive Director of Philadelphia’s Community Life Improvement Programs (CLIP). These programs consist of several initiatives and agencies dedicated to improving the appearance of neighborhoods throughout the City of Philadelphia through the eradication of blight. They are designed to maximize effectiveness and efficiency by creating partnerships with residents and businesses to foster sustainable communities. You’ll learn about their graffiti abatement team, their vacant lot program, their property maintenance program, and more.
